Global software update for the MG3 hybrid+ is coming...

Hi, I've read about the upcoming global update for MG3 hybrid+ models, based on ZS hybrid. The update will arrive sometime in the second half of 2025. Do you know anything more about it?

If it's based on the ZS hybrid+ they can keep it.
My son's ZS hybrid+ regularly rev's up to 5000rpm when on hill's or slight inclines, where as my MG3 hybrid doesn't have any over reving.
I'm happy with the way mine is running, so no thanks to the update.

I don't know if it is "the" update but my car got updated and notice some differences:

• The battery seems not to deplete as far as it used to anymore, it stays around 3 bars minimum.
• During driving the engine seems to work a bit harder to keep the battery level up though.
• And it feel like it drives a bit less in pure EV mode.

But, all in all, it now behaves more like i expected a hybrid would behave, and less like a wannabe pure electric car that needs to recharge itself every few minutes.

Can't judge hills and mountains as they are not close. But on bridges and on ramps , no problems.
