I wouldn't say I enjoy it, I just want to do it as quickly and easily as possible. I've got some new stuff to try, supposed to be touchless.
I've been using this stuff, from Aldi I think. It's pretty good and economical. You will need some microfiber cloths for the best result
I won't mention 58kWh of solar generated so far here today, thenI do envy you the sunshine. It was forecast here, but in fact it's dull.
That's a nice shape graph21.1 kWh today. (The blue bits are where the house battery is being topped up, now on 81%). 11.5 kWh into the cars.
I use Bilt Hamber in a garden sprayer to save working out the correct mixture for the pressure washer. Then I get the pressure washer out and set up by which time its had its 5 minutes of soaking. It works OK as a quick wash but it needs to be done regularly.I tried the Bilt no touch stuff and was not impressed. I think I'll just pay someone to do it.
dittoI have all the kit but generally use some local guys just down the road. It saves digging things like pressure washers out of the black hole that is my workshop.
I presume you don't call them that to their face !I don't even have all the kit. I'd far rather pay some other schmuck to do it!
That is a lovely motor, and I do envy you the sunshine. It was forecast here, but in fact it's dull.
Hardly!
I don't like using 'itchy n scratchy car washes' for same reason I won't use deliveroo or just eat. After a long night at the oars with the other galley slaves trying to row HMS Great Britain along, I find it's kind of pleasurable and a little relaxing to clean the car, enjoying the sunshine, birds singing. My sister took her car to the 'itchy n scratchy' paid her £7 or £8 and to be fair they did a decent job.Laurel and Hardly. May as well be them, whose cleaning ya car. I've took a few cars for relatives, to these scratch and scratch hand car washes. WOW!
Nope not for me. But each to their own.![]()
