What does that mean for cars already ordered but not yet delivered?

Also a big blow for the new ZS especially after the January price hike.

According to Fleet news...
"It says that it will allow dealers or vehicle manufacturers to claim for any orders that were placed by customers in the seven consecutive days before the grant rate change which were not logged on the portal.

This means that any orders placed by customers between 12.01am on December 8 and 11.59pm on December 14, before the grants rate changed that had not yet been logged on the portal, will be paid at previous rates and eligibility criteria."

It seems to have been a rather cack-handed decision and its implementation. Apparently, ozev wasn't able to give a heads up on this to users of their portal service that allows the grants to be registered, hence the grace period.

It's a big shame for anyone wanting to get an EV. I think it will put a lot of people off. The average person cannot afford 30k and with the grants going people will not switch.

We ordered on 9th Nov but yet to complete the MG finance agreement until known delivery date (possibly Jan). The dealer has said that all is okay with £2,500 grant as it is registered.

Disabled drivers who lease a car via Motability are in for a shock this morning.

Overnight 71 fully electric vehicles have been removed from the list of those available to lease, leaving only 9!!
