Afternoon,
Wonder if you can advise me on this issue?
Driving around today on A roads and town roads the speed identification of a lot of the roads is totally wrong, 50 mph on a 70mph (A2) 30 mph road and comes up 20mph. Do you think this a GPS issue or maps/ software needs updating. Also do I need to turn off all these audible features ever time I get in the car or is there a shortcut for a 1 button my settings, I saw custom on the screen push a few buttons but after a restart still didn’t set to what I wanted.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Re the beeps yes there is a shortcut, If you look under MGPilot there's a custom icon. Change all the settings you want to change and then press and hold the custom icon for a few seconds. Next time you start up you can just tap the custom icon and all your settings are restored. Have to do it every time though.

Ok great thank you, I will try that and hopefully a non techy like myself will master it 🤦‍♂️

You can change your choice of settings any time, just long press the custom icon to store again.

Not sure about the MGS5, but I suspect it's like the MG4 and gets the road speed from the front camera pointing down the road. Quite often it's distracted by signs on side roads, off ramps etc.

The car's GPS has nothing to do with it, but it's possible wrong/outdated map data could be to blame. But my money is on side road signs.

Ok thank you for that, I will ask the main dealer about making sure all software/maps etc is up to date 👍
