Does the 2020 EV ZS have heated mirrors?

Exclusive I think yes

I don't know if it's my imagination but some days the HRW and the heated mirrors seem to be rubbish and on other days they work great and it doesn't seem to be ambient temperature related.

Maybe the heated mirrors only come on when the HRW is on?
I find the HRW comes on automatically when ambient is below 0C.

Yes, the heated mirrors can only be turned on by turning the HRW on, there's no separate switch.
I noticed the HRW came on automatically sometimes when I put the front demister on, I never associated it with being below 0 deg C, well spotted.

Your reply solves why I thought the heated mirrors were no good!
On the Merc they are on all the time I believe.
I suppose its logical not to do that on an EV.

My previous cars, Priuses and Mondeos were the same as the ZS, they only came on with the HRW. I thought that was the norm.

Thanks for this - it was a question I was asking myself at the start of winter when they wing mirrors didn't clear even after a half hour journey...

On the MG ZS EVs in Australia, I am pretty sure they turn on if the rear window demister is turned on.
