Hill Descent Control (HDC) explained

I had HDC on my previous HS PHEV and again on this 2025 version. I tried it on both and concluded it’s an interesting feature but as it keeps the car at walking pace it’s not much use in the real world. However, I’ve just discovered that if you engage it then accelerate to a higher speed it will maintain that higher speed, now I can make use of it in the real world.
Apologies to all who knew this already but this discovery has changed my perception of its usefulness.
