Home chargers - which one did you buy, and why?

Many thanks. It doesn’t sound promising, I have to say but I must admit I thought that timed charging was now possible with the ZS EV after one of the software upgrades last year?

My understanding is that this is indeed now resolved for most brands of charger. Unfortunately, Rolec isn't one of them.

Well it would seem from these very helpful replies - thank you all - that, given our very basic electricity supply system over here with nothing other than Economy 7 to offer savings, a charger that can be set to come on at a predetermined time each night is probably sufficient for my needs. It nonetheless needs to be a 'smart' charger, to qualify for the OLEV (now OZEV?) grant but additional capabilities are probably unnecessary.

Ohme - driven by the smart tariff integration but it would also be fine for your E7 tariff.

I use a 32A commando version though rather than hard wired.
