Been searching for a home charger and one came up by egg?

£30 per month is this a good deal ? Only looking for something basic .
Am I better off buying outright?

Thanks in advance.

The £30/month option works out considerably more expensive than outright purchase in the long run (it's a four year deal). But if you haven't the capital to purchase outright then it's an option.

Have a search on the forum, loads of of options available from a Hypervolt at over £1k fitted to the Ohme Lead (other brands available) with Commando plug, which can be done for less than £500.

You used to be able to get the old Rolec dumb chargers, but the legislation has changed now to say all EV chargers fitted have to be smart chargers. I'm sure you'll find something still on eBay though.

I even did a quick search for you can came up with this: For Sale - OHMe 7kw Wall Charger, tethered type 2 and holster
