Phew, I made the right choice. 😎
The December What Car magazine includes their tests on eleven popular home wall chargers.
Only one received five stars and the two popular ones mentioned on this forum came 4th and 9th.l
I can"t find it online yet, but I'll post a link here when it appears.

A few on this forum warned me off buying a Morec charger , did I listen, no. I apologise you were all right.
I recently had delivered a 22kw 3phase EVSE , arrived 11am , fully tested by 5pm . Did not work, power going into the unit on all 3 phases , no pops , no clicks, no smoke , no tripping of the consumer unit breaker or RCD. Just nothing. For evidence I videoed the full procedure and promptly contacted the service dept.
The video was too big to send by email which I explained ....... Several emails and days later repeatedly explaining the same scenario they are refusing to believe its faulty , I have quoted their own guarantees and the EU s consumer return policies for distance selling and not fit for purpose laws and regulations . I have even done a second test with photos which will send but they do not accept that as evidence , according to the EU rules I do not have to prove it , just inform them.
Tomorrow , going to the bank to see what they and Visa say ? Then opening a legal claim through a subsidiary connected to the French Government.
Bottom line: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MOREC that's MOREC.:mad:.

I took delivery of my HS Trophy on the 20th Nov. I researched online, and ended up on Amazon, where I purchased an EV Dance Mode 2 Portable IP66 Charger for £99.
Used it at night, and it performed perfectly, you can select 4, 6, or 10 Amp charging, of course the lower the amperage, the longer the time. I selected 6A, for my 1st use, and had no problems whatsoever.

You not said if you charge on off peak electricity, I was moved to octopus from shell energy when bought out. Then I could go on to the go tariff so had a socket installed that I could set up a time to power up on off peak rates ( also the whole house is on it too ) which saved me money. Just a idea for you.
