My so-called smart PodPoint I have made smarter also with a Sonoff relay.
I used a 12v powered Sonoff with an isolated NO/NC relay. I connected the 12 volt from a service point on the PodPoint main-board to the power connection of the Sonoff and the "Common" and "Normally Open" (NO) I've connected in series with the PodPoint "CP" and the Tethered Cable's "CP" wire. It has worked well for me for nearly 3 years now. Better that PodPoint's slow to use App based scheduling.
