Have you read the whole of this thread?

If you have the pre-facelift MG5 there is no app because the car lacks the necessary hardware and there would seem to be almost no chance that this will ever change. Software updates are "relatively" easy to implement and install; the same is most definitely NOT the case for hardware changes!

OTOH, if you have the facelift MG5 then iSmart is available to you.
