how to use wired carplay?

Hi, I recently received an ad for a wireless carplay adapter. Product-U2W plus I haven't heard of this device before because I've never used carplay since I got my car in 2019. I try to connect my iphone with my a4l via usb cable but it fails to open carplay. Can anyone tell me how to use wired carplay first? thank you!

I just plug it in with a USB cable! Make sure its in the correct USB slot - there are two under the handbrake console, and only one connects to car play. Also my iPhone needs to be unlocked for it to work.

Hi, I used the port on the outside of the center console, will try the port on the inside the armrest later. Thank you!
