It was an offer I couldn't refuse. £24,000 for a zero miles pre-registered S5 and £14,000 for my 23 plate MG4 Trophy.

Yes. My service plan is with the same dealer I'm getting the S5 from.

I wonder if there's a pooch lock on the tailgate?

I don't blame you at all, I had a similar offer to 'upgrade' to the ER Trophy nearly a year ago. They certainly know how to dangle the carrot. It's due its first service and have had a reminder, you never know, they may offer me a change at the same time...I wouldn't put it passed them
