People fantasize that these 2,3 tonnes (+) cars is sports cars because it has a lot of power, but they ain't. No point in taking them to a track. Street brakes is then good enough!

Totally agree. High powered EVs such as the IM5 performance or the X Power.
The Braking and Handling, are more than good enough for Road use and probably most folks, capabilities. Ok track use they'll probably be found wanting, but let's face it, not many will take them, to the track.

EV brakes often face criticism for being either too grabby or having a bit to much travel in the pedal due to regen.

Track use invalidates the warranty. It isn't designed for that so don't try!
