IM5 smart key app dropout

Had the car two days now and it seems to have gradually connected all the features with the app with the exception of smart key recognition .
It will connect manually through the app and hold the connection for between 1 and 15 minutes before needing to manually connect again to use the thecental locking and boot/ bonnet release . I will be contacting the dealer to discuss the problem Mon a.m. but wondered if anyone has encountered similar problems . The rest of the app functions seem to work but did take over a day to settle down.

Mine has been solid. Have you bound the phone to the car?

Yes , that side works O.K.
All the other features are working just the smart key dropout , when the app connects all the fob features work until it drops connection again .
