Hi guys, just a quick one.
I picked up my new car today ( photos will be posted tomorrow), I have a question if anyone can answer for me. Having got home I realised that there are no mats in the car, does anyone know if they come as standard or if you have to purchase. I want to know before I nag the dealer.
Thanks
Don

Just a quick one Big Bear
What’s your speed recognition like ? I noticed on my drive home that the car often missed the speed limit signs ( or displayed the wrong speed) when I drove on duel carriageways I got nothing showing.
Also when I parked up last night at home the bloody alarm kept going off, in the end I put the car in the garage and left it unlocked - have you had any issues.

Hi Don, not sure really how good speed recognition is tbh, I always switch it off as experience with my other cars tells that it is never 100% right and therefore is more a distraction than of any real use and down right inconvenient if linked to speed control😂.
Ref the alarm, no not had any issues so far, certainly not triggered at last night anyway😳 - hope yours is just some sort of "blip" and it starts working ok.
I guess you have doubled checked all windows are fully up/doors/bonnet/boot properly closed🤷‍♂️?

Got the car out of the garage this morning, took a quick drive around the block and then put back on the drive and locked it. ( been there for just over an hour and so far no alarm 🤞). So hopefully just a blip !
Loving the drive !

Others have said that they have mats. Do you mean you have no carpet at all in the car or just no extra mats?

Hi, yes sorry - appetite on the floor but no mats to cover, apparently you have to order mats if you want them !

Had several new cars over the years and always had mats with the car, mainly from jaguar & bmw to be fare. Not a problem as such but perhaps they should be mentioned when “ the deal is done”
Still a superb car and mats are on order

I’ve ordered some from here: UK Manufactured Car Mats From £9.99
Got some from here last year for the granddaughter and they were good quality
Yeah, thats who I've ordered from too😁 - ordered from them before too, mostly boot mats before and they have been good quality too. First time had to use them because the manufacturer/dealer doesn't have stock though🤷‍♂️.....

I was looking for a boot liner and could not find any for the IM6 yet. I contacted Titan who did my last one for the Ioniq 5 and they said:

Thank you for contacting us. Once in receipt of your new vehicle if you wish to get in touch we can book in for our templating service. We currently offer appointments Tuesdays- Thursdays 9.30am - 2pm.

Maybe you can help our design team and in return you will receive a free fully tailored boot liner complete with a Bumper Flap and Split Seat. You will also be given the option to choose an Extender and the colour of your choice.
To develop a new pattern for your vehicle you will be required to make two visits to our factory. The first visit will be for our design team to take the relevant measurements directly from your vehicle so that we can transfer this data to our CAD software and produce a pattern for your vehicle. The second visit which will be a minimum of three week later will be for us to fit the liner into your vehicle and take promotional images. After the second visit you will then drive off with your brand new liner. We estimate each visit to be approximately 1 - 2 hours depending on the vehicle.
Whilst at our premises you will be able to wait in our comfortable reception area where the tea and coffee is always flowing.
Dogs are always more than welcome at Titan so if you do not want to leave them at home please feel free to bring them along with you.
Our factory is based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. We are just off Junction 1 of the M69 and are very easy to get to. Our full address is

Over The Top Textiles
Titan Covers
Unit 6 Skecthley Meadows

If anyone lives that way there is a chance of a free liner.
