I love the car - lots of premium stuff; heat pump, multi speaker sound system, electrically adjustable front seats, heated seats in rear, wireless CP/AA, auto tailgate, but….they all only have a manually dimming rear view mirror. I’m genuinely shocked

Hardly a deal breaker. But it does seem an
odd decision. Considering the rest of the car is packed with stuff. They must have got a job lot of, manually dimming rear view mirrors. Probably from China.

I can't remember the last time I used rear view mirrors without having it on manually dimmed. I also have to adjust the side view mirrors when someone with overly bright rally lights is behind. Auto dimming side mirrors should be a thing too. Not everyone has tinted windows

Do many have, overly Bright, Rally Lights.

I noticed a manual dipping rear view mirror is the only type fitted to the new MGS5 too. Is this because there have been lots of failures of the electronic versions? My previous car had one back in 2012 when it was new, so has the MG4 trophy I now have, so the technology is proven. I have found it to be particularly good to combat the reflection from the mirror produced with bright LED headlights now fitted to so many cars.

My question is does anyone have a owners manuale or rescue sheet of the MG IM6, IM5 and QS.
Or does someone know where to find technical information of the MG's.
