Indicator stuck on?

Done a search, but may have found a new "feature" with my car. Has anyone ever switched the indicator off and maybe the front indicator has stayed flashing? I had a car flashing hazards and then indicator over and over at me, the indicator noise was not going and the mirror indicator was not on. I wasn't until I indicated again that they stopped. I can only think that the front one was stuck on.
