I know that this has been mentioned previously, but I can no longer find it in the forum.
I am very happy with my MG HS PHEV Trophy and over time have got used to the excessive bongs and warning noises, but one thing that I find quite dangerous is the fact that when you indicate to make a change of direction or lane change, the indicator warning sounds, but then silences if one of the warnings or bongs is happening. I think it is wrong and even dangerous that the “Focus on driving” bong takes priority over the indicator warning. I also wish that the over speed warning would give a slightly wider margin before sounding, maybe at 74 or 75, instead of 71 mph.
My car is due a service in about two and a bit months, so hopefully the dealer will upgrade the firmware and tidy things up a bit, including fixing the “Star Buttons”.

My driving instructor, who was an ex traffic cop, used to say the indicator is just a bulb. Meaning it's far more important that you are focusing on what is happening on the road.

I agree though, you'd think they'd have fixed this bug. Surely they could both play at the same time?

I'm not sure when it changed, but it used to be possible to hear the indicator click at the same time as warning bongs. I reckon it happened during an FOTA update - I'm sure it still worked after my dealer SW update in May to R62.
