Infotainment issues

We're about 10 days into owning our new MG S5 trophy. The infotainment is having some issues. When taking a call the mic will just cut out at some point where the other person can not hear me. Its also started lagging and freezing and restarting intermittently. Has anyone else had these issues? Will try to contact the dealer today as well.

You could try a reset of the media centre, see if that helps. I'm assuming there is a way to do that.

press and hold the physical home button for ~20secs and the infotainment system will reboot

We had our car recently serviced. Prior to the service there the Infotainment unit, though "laggy" was ok. Sadly, the infotainment unit has been rendered useless !!! I will keep you posted on how I get on with the dealer as I suspect I will need to escalate the matter to MG Australia. I am based in Perth.
