Infotainment Screen Dimming

I'm going mad!
I've looked and looked (Even tried looking in the handbook!) but I can not for the life of me find out where (IF) I can turn down the brightness of the centre Infotainment Screen on my Zs.
I have had it for just under a year but had never really used it much at night (Covid).
Now the world is coming back slowly to some normality and the nights are drawing in I find my self using the car more and at night.
With the screen in it's first mode it's blinding! I end up choosing to press the radio to darken the screen a little but some adjustment would be nice.

Can anyone point my the right deration?
 
Settings>display>Background mode, then you have a choice of, Day, Night or Auto.
but if it's anything like the '5, it's still too bright (at least, it is for me. I like a dim dash at night and still find the 5 a bit bright. Don't like the reflection off the driver's side window either.

Infotainment display Off
Thanks to Jessica in the MG Call Centre for sending me a PDF of the Infotainment system manual that I can read while I'm waiting for my MG5 LR to arrive.

I too wanted to know how to turn off the display (while leaving the media & sat nav voice playing) like I can on the MG6. Check out page 9 'Display Off'

There are two ways to turn the display off without turning the system off.
1. At the bottom right of the main screen there is a scroll right arrow, select this then "OFF"at the bottom left. This is the easiest way if you're driving.
2. In the Settings. Settings>Display, then to the right of the brightness slider is there is an "OFF" button.
The Brightness can also be turned down using this brightness slider.
