Infotainment screen freeze

Hi I had the screen stay blank after start up today. I tried everything but still blank until I reversed and the camera came on then when I put it into Drive the screen came on as if nothing had been wrong.
So if this happens to you try the reverse trick. Hope this is useful.

I have been having major issues with my whole car and one of the issues was that the infotainment system would go black and then reboot back to where it had been. I have had an independent assessment done of the car and was advised that it was possibly due to loose wiring and could cause a fire. It would be worth getting this checked out with MG.

@Woodington , this rarely happens to me but what you said in your reply reminded me of someone else having this issue. It turned out the plug on the rear of the infotainment unit wasn’t pushed in fully.
