Is it possible to stop the annoying announcement by Moira Stewart? she usually gets the date wrong anyway!

It drives me nuts when Moira suddenly burst into life telling me stuff I already know, and getting the date wrong!
Is there a way to turn off this feature?

Lucky you! I get the 'announcement' every time i set off, although occasionally she waits 5 minutes before she tells me the weather and temperature and whatever location i am in, and asks me to 'please drive safely'. It really is irritating!

You probably have "connect" version car with live updates? Go into weather settings (No. 1 in the screenshot below) and see if you can switch it off... can't help much as mine is a poor-guy's version of ZS without live updates ...?

I do indeed have the LR Trophy Connect, and you were spot on with the place to look for a setting.
Job done, no more Moira!

If this doesn't work, there is a new software update. It will fix the incorrect date and the inability to turn it off as well as the erroneous 'maintain vehicle now' message. Ask next time you have a service to update the head unit software. It is a known issue so they should understand. I think they are on version R24 now

Thanks for that. I will try and get them to do the update. for some reason they said they couldn't do an update last time it was serviced, if they won't do it on the next service, I will go to another dealer!

I’ve had my LR Trophy connect over a year and only discovered this feature the other day… not bother trying it out now ! ?

all , if you go into WEATHER SETTINGS, broadcast, option , move slider to off
