Is it still worth exporting your home battery?

It would make more sense to me, theyre charging more for electricity at those times therefore they can afford to pay more.

That's what I thought. If they gave me a better export price at these times I'd just set the battery to routinely discharge then, and it would be easier for me too.

but they do exactly that on Octopus Agile.... paying nearly 17p in the next 30 mins from now.. and you'd get 19.44p / kWh for export between 18:30 and 19:00 today

Can you go on agile for export only remaining on intelligent for import?

You get great export rates then. Though miss out on cheap overnight, sadly.

Worth doing as long as you are generating a certain multiple of what you use over 24 hours. Tim from Tim and Kat YT channel does calculations of when it is worth switching.
