Is Octopus Flux my perfect tariff?

I have 6.5KWh battery, I have 7.5KW of solar but only a 6kw inverter.
I have had my G98(?) updated so that I can export up to 5KW.
I only drive about 8000 miles a year so only have to charge my EV about 6-8 times a month. Each 3 hour charge puts about 75 miles on the car.

That is all great - the key though with all these "savings" is the payback period for the huge capital investment in solar, battery, inverter etc...

Would you mind posting rough costs and over what period you expect payback at the current rates? Thanks.

I have 19 solar panels, 19 optimisers (partial shading from trees), 7.5kwp plus 2 x 3kwh inverters (1 for each string), 6.5kwh battery and I had a zappi fitted at the same time. So, much more expensive than a normal install.

It cost alot but considerably less than my ev, which has NO payback period.

The first calculation for payback was 7-10 years based only on savings by using my own power instead of importing it. Export was not even considered.

Now that I can get so much from export (£58 last month, I've reached that already this month and it's only 17th..) payback should be much sooner.
