I’ve had the car a few months and put 1,400 miles on it, but already I’ve got more chips in the paint than my previous 6 year old leaf. Is this paint extremely thin and does anyone know where you can get a reliable touch up although as from the picture some are a bit too big maybe for a touch up?

You can buy touch up paint from your dealer but it won't be an invisible repair. The paint doesn't seem worse than any other modern car to me.

I'm finding the paint on my MG4 pretty easily chipped, got one on the front of the roof which turned rusty within a couple of weeks. Glad now I chose black because of this, touch ins are difficult to spot thankfully.

What is the official colour ( paint code ) of your car ?.
It can be found in a sticker, below the drivers door catch when you open the door.
Here is a sample of some MG paint codes.
Does it match any of these codes ?.
