Is there any upgrade available for Registration Plate light for MG HS PHEV

One of my registration plate lights has blown. I’m just wondering if it’s possible to buy a new LED unit for it, like I did for my previous car (not an MG). Or do I just need to buy LED bulb only? Please advise me guys.

I'd just put an LED bulb in it ...... there was a trick going around over here, superbright LED numberplate lights with a reflector to only direct the light across the numberplate, not on it to illuminate ..... the claim was the speed cameras and red light cameras couldn't get a clear image through the intense beam of light ..... no idea if it worked or not ..... but it seems to have died out like many of these things do .....

@AtikDrivesPHEV, Was there an associated warning message to tell you that a licence plate bulb was defective?
Some cars sense the current flow to detect if a bulb has blown. A replacement W5W LED bulb may not draw enough current and therefore display a bulb blown message. There are canbus compatible bulbs to get around this problem, but they generally have surface mount resistors so that they draw as much power as the standard bulb. If you got no message then I guess it has no detection so you could replace with any type of W5W LED bulb. Often then appear very bright in comparison.
