The number of times the app doesn't connect to the car is getting ridiculous. Get your finger out MG and stop giving us a second rate service. I have a 4 bar 4G signal so it's not me. It's beyond a joke.
 
Sorry to say that it’s not a common issue. Had our ZS just over a month and iSmart has connect every time. Try bonding and starting again.
 
Mine regularly doesn't connect when at home but I think in this case the reason is that the car is in a basement garage surrounded by lots of concrete walls etc and the signal is not getting through. When the vehicle is in other locations there is no problem connecting. Could something like that be your problem?
 
The only time our app and car don’t ‘talk’ to each other is when we’re t home, but then mobile reception is bad in our village. It’s fine when we’re out and about.
 
As others have said, never had an issue with iSMART connecting to the car, even in poor signal areas.
 
I only really use the app for charging. I have a lot of issues with scheduled charging. However I don’t know if it’s not talking to the car or the charger!

Does scheduling work if you program it from the car?
Also what charger do you use?
