iSmart not working on pixel phone

I've noticed an upsurge in posts appearing in this board by non MG4 owners. Is this an unintended by-product of the new Similar Posts feature?

It almost certainly is ... if you look at some other threads you'll see Similar Threads listed that are not from the MG4 board.

Did you give the ismart app camera permissions? You may have denied it accidentally. Go to settings,apps,mg ismart and see if your have all the permissions checked for camera, photos and nearby devices.

It's strange. I've a Pixel 8a on Android 16 beta as well as a Pixel 9 on Android 15, both are connecting fine.

I factory reset the 8a a few days ago and wiped to android 15. All I had to do was just log into the ismart app. I didn't have to go through the extra step to bind it, just log in.

I only got the 9 shortly after resetting the 8a but I didn't bind to the car with it, I just downloaded the mg I smart app, logged into the app with my username and password and it just started working away as if I binded.

Maybe you're doing a step too much.

It used to work fine. It might have stopped working when I went over the border to daylight savings time. But there is no step I'm over doing. I can't login. I can't even register. The app is useless at the moment. I've emailed the developer and no reply
