Ooh.. Rear bumper guard? Whossat? Eh? Eh?.... And DON'T say "a guard for the rear bumper.."???Go #team red! Congratulations ? ??
Just get the windows tinted and rear bumper guard on it, before you scratch the bumper and fry in the![]()
Yeah, but no.. But Yeah, but no... what it woz, see, was that the dealer had an black'un & a white 'un for immediate delivery. I test drove a black demo, and was really keen on it.. But then I got in the showroom to "talk the talk", and got totally confused about which one. In the end, since I knew I were going to get tints, I thought the black one might end up looking too much like a van (or hearse?)... Red does look purty good, tho' Anyway, I'm happy wiv white, especially as it's really shiny-shiny right now....Only if black wasn't available.![]()
Could jjst buy one when it's all scratched. That way you have a brand new bumper guard which hides the scratchesView attachment 3755
The black bit from Here or Here
Yep it’s very pricey for what it is but how much does it cost to sort paint work
That's my take on it, same with sill guards.Could jjst buy one when it's all scratched. That way you have a brand new bumper guard which hides the scratches![]()
Check with water , if the scratch disappears by applying water ,it's just the clear coat that has been damaged and is repairable. If it doesn't t go away with water it's through the paint itself....I'm going to stop reading this forum. I had my first brake-squeal-in-reverse after reading that thread, and today my dog decided that she need to see what I'd bought and now I have some lovely scratches on the boot lip - right after checking on this thread this morning.
I just need to decide if it's cheaper to get a bumper guard, or plasti-dip the dog.
I'm not taking chances, I've decided to bubble wrap the dog.Check with water , if the scratch disappears by applying water ,it's just the clear coat that has been damaged and is repairable. If it does t go away with water it's through the paint itself....
