???Go #team red! Congratulations ? ??
Just get the windows tinted and rear bumper guard on it, before you scratch the bumper and fry in the ☀️
Ooh.. Rear bumper guard? Whossat? Eh? Eh?.... And DON'T say "a guard for the rear bumper..":p

Only if black wasn't available. :)
Yeah, but no.. But Yeah, but no... what it woz, see, was that the dealer had an black'un & a white 'un for immediate delivery. I test drove a black demo, and was really keen on it.. But then I got in the showroom to "talk the talk", and got totally confused about which one. In the end, since I knew I were going to get tints, I thought the black one might end up looking too much like a van (or hearse?)... Red does look purty good, tho' Anyway, I'm happy wiv white, especially as it's really shiny-shiny right now....

I'm going to stop reading this forum. I had my first brake-squeal-in-reverse after reading that thread, and today my dog decided that she need to see what I'd bought and now I have some lovely scratches on the boot lip - right after checking on this thread this morning.
I just need to decide if it's cheaper to get a bumper guard, or plasti-dip the dog.

Check with water , if the scratch disappears by applying water ,it's just the clear coat that has been damaged and is repairable. If it doesn't t go away with water it's through the paint itself....

I'm not taking chances, I've decided to bubble wrap the dog.

I'm fairly sure it's just the clear coat, or at least the 3 layers of wax that's already on it. A bit of TLC will cure it.

#teamsilver (though if I'm honest it wasn't the colour I would have chosen - what was available 2nd hand)
