Just picked up a ZS Hybrid+ Trophy

Drove it back home, about 8 miles. Put it in park mode and was looking at some settings. Suddenly a message pops up saying 12v battery is low and an icon on the instrument screen comes on. Its saying to start the car. Rang the dealer and he says that's common and should stop coming up as I drive more. Will see how this goes in the next few weeks !

I must say enjoyed the drive back. Had it on Normal and 2. Surprised to get 61.4mpg !

Car may have been sitting about for a while, dealer may well have a point, good excuse to take it for a bit of a run.

plan to take it for a long run tomorrow, mrs is panicking and talking about returning the car
assured her this is the 'new' tech and will need getting used to

just an update...did a 60miles round trip today, came home and upon switching off the car, the '12
v Battery Low Some applicance functions limited Start the Vehicle'
Tried speaking to the salesman at the dealer whom I bought the car, he says it will go away after some time. Wasn't happy with that and I showed my frustration. I rang the services dept. and its centralised and the woman on the phone was so helpful, quite the opposite to the dealer. I am booked in for battery health check and other checks in 2 weeks time and the work will be under warranty. This is at a different garage but same dealership.

quick update, been 2 days using the car, just driven locally. No more Low Battery message, the battery charge on the driver dash shows a constant 14.2V. Still booked in next week
One more point - my infotainment version is showing as 2024 december, if I recall during my test drives I did see version to be 2025 july, will ask them

I did get a summer 2025 update in autumn that gave me the long awaited graphic equalizer. If that is not present in yours, you are definitely running an old version.
