Kill Switch - Cut Off Relay, What fuse would prevent ready state?

Hi.

I am fitting a cut off via my tracking system, its been on my to do list for a while. Now the only requirement is that it would need to be within the area of the 'Passenger fuse compartment' -

The easiest way to look at it is 'If i removed this fuse, the car would not be able to enter the 'Ready' state, thus undrivable.' - What fuse would that be in your mind?


Going through the wiring diagram, and the fuses - the only ones i can think of are F5, F7 but even then im not convinced.
Any ideas?

Why not just unplug said fuse(s) and see if it renders your MG4 undrivable

aha, it did cross my mind, but i'd just hate to damage the system -

But with some tinkering - F7 is the perfect fuse, it prevents ready mode, disable shifting - and blinds your screens to even see what the issue is..

Shame its a Micro3 fuse, with the left being the shifter, the right being the instrument cluster - then the middle being the power to complete the circuit

Im thinking of getting a 2 lead micro 3 tap, without any fuses, so the left and right wire can be joined, and then i just need to make something to fit in the middle prong section of the tap to complete a circuit - add a relay and a 5a fuse to it - and we'll be on to a winner!

not too sure what you mean by 'left and right wire can be joined' - that sounds as though you'll be changing the existing fusing arrangement
