There are 2 symbols on the bottom right of the driver’s screen that refer to LKA and LDA. The manual states they are grey for standby, orange for failure and green for activated. I have both LKA and LDA enabled to ‘assist’ but I have never seen them green only grey and orange. Also I do not feel the nudge when they should be activated. What are others experience?

Morning Mike
Mine are normally green ( unless road markings are poor) steering gives “a tug” if I wander over without indicating.
It might be worth a reboot !

LKA will light up the roadway on the dash to blue, and the steering wheel icon will light up. It seems LKA enable requires two down swipes of the gear selector stalk.
For me, LKA works better than expected. I travel two lane rural roads a lot, some with edge and center lines, and some with center line only. It tracks both remarkably. I also travel a four lane with a concrete barrier separating the two directions. LKA is not perturbed at all.
The shoulder is often crowded with scooters and various three wheeled vehicles. If the opposing lane is clear, LKA will move over a meter or so to give them more space, then smartly move back to the center of the blue road. I rarely drive without it anymore.

Just wanted to bump this as i have stll not seen the symbols go green. I get a ‘tug’ on the steering if I go over a line and pilot works fine. Just never seen the symbols green!

Hi Mike, I think I got it wrong before ! If your in autopilot mode and get the car to change lanes itself you will see them go green as they look and move over ( I think) 🥺

OK. I rarely use pilot and never to change lane so that could be why!

I played with it last week and I’m sure that what activates those little lights. Give it a go ( on a quiet bit of dual carriage way and let me know)

OK, I tried yesterday….. Had Pilot engaged going along a dual carriageway and indicated to change lanes. Car started to move over but then swerved away for the white lane markings. The LKA and LDA lights stayed grey….

Strange Mike, it may have been that the auto lane change failed for some reason. When I play with it sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t . Perhaps try again when your feeling brave, if it successfully moves over ( if you look at the dash you will see a blue box that it intends to put the car in) you should then see those dash lights come on.
To be honest it’s not a lot of good if you can’t rely on it to work all the time and the autopilot often results in the need to change your trousers after giving it a go in heavy traffic !
Hey- ho, perhaps an update will sort it out - but I’d still rather see the light come on automatically when it rains hard.

Had a longer trip this week and actually saw those light green! It seems you have to cross a line ,without indicating, (which I never really do) for them to change colour. I expected them to be green if they were active but the manual is exactly right as it seems they go green when activated.
