Has anyone tried the Lapp mobility dock?

It basically a converter that lets you use your type 2 cable as a granny. Most cars will already have a granny, so I don’t see the point, the space saving is minimal. Have I missed something?

I suppose it means you only need space in the boot for one cable.

No Granny charging devices supplied with the car here in Europe, only a Type 2 charging cable.

Then that makes perfect sense and is an excellent solution.
