Lights for driving in Europe

Hi all
Just about to embark on a trip through Northern Spain to Portugal. Does anyone know if the headlights are symmetrical or asymetrical, and so if I need to get a stick on converter. In my last car I had a menu setting that changed it automatically but it seems the MG doesn’t have this function. And then I read that modern symmetrical headlights don’t need converting.
Don’t fancy a chat with the police in my broken Spanish…

...not sure you can do anything with projector headlights, been years since I've seen adjustments to lights - I remember the old yellow lights in France for example
