As I’m enjoying the huge savings on a day to day basis now and again I work out a virtual m.p.g. for my #teamred 5.

Yesterday a return trip to Oxfordshire consisting of regular 70mph when I can, driving in Eco there and Normal coming home. I reckon 70mph limit accounts for 140 of the 170 miles covered, so here goes

170 miles
The charge cost £4.27

If I’m driving my virtual diesel car doing 170 miles using £4.27 worth of diesel (£1.30 per litre/£5.90 per gallon)

The trip would be 226 m.p.g.

How impressive #nobrainer

The impressive fuel costs certainly encourage one to use it a lot! The downside is that the warranty period (75k miles IIRC), comes up quicker :)

Sounds good, out of interest how many miles were left on the GOM, and how many KWh did it take to charge?
15 on the GOM
See image for charge details 🤔
