Map updates

Has anyone managed to find map updates for the im6 ?
I moved into a new build about 2.5 years ago and my street isn’t even showing on the system. I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to update the maps. I’ve looked online and the mg map updater does not include im5/6

Further to the above, I contacted MG to find out how to update the maps in the IM6 and received the following:

Dear customer,
Please visit your dealer to update the infotainment software and map data.
Thank you!

Not great - but at least they replied - now let’s see if I can get the local dealer to do it. To be honest it’s not a deal breaker as I’ve started using google maps via CarPlay , but I was hoping I might get some other updates at the same time ( including stopping the bl**dy alarm going off when it feels like it)

is your alarm going off shortly after you lock the car?

Hi, no the alarm goes off at any time ( often at night - it really pleases the neighbours) ! It goes off a couple of times on the trot and then doesn’t go off for a few days - unfortunately it then doesn’t it again.

It will be interesting to see what the dealer says. Hyundai would only do it once a year or if the car was on for something else.

I’ll let you know Mike, at the moment “radio silence” is all I’m getting. ( sent the dealer an email - copying in the reply from MG) no response yet - if I get a chance I might nip into the dealer tomorrow and give them a little shove.

Car is booked in for 2nd June, they are going to update the infotainment system including maps, they are also going to look at the alarm ( sporadically going off), I’ve asked if they can at the same time include any other software updates they may have - let’s wait and see .

I’m content atm to wait for my first service and maybe get the latest……..
