I do remember reading about anti-corrosion protection for this car and how the dealers were pointing that out as a one of a kind characteristic. If you can get hold of this read, take that as a point for your next debate.

Same goes for the MG4 XPower drivers - The vibrations at 120kmh are a characteristic of the cars sporty nature - Pretty wild imo..

Definitely needs replacing. If you do manage to get it done FOC, I would coat the whole underbody and exhaust with Lanoguard. It needs to be done once a year but is easy to apply. I have yet to do my MG5 (4 years old) but will post photos BEFORE and AFTER.
