Hi, I have a MATT-e earthing device installed in my integral garage alongside an EO Home Smart charger. The box has always had a quiet hum which isn't a problem where it is fitted. Today I noticed it suddenly developed a really loud buzz and I mean really loud, could hear it from my lounge some distance away. I did the classic turn off and back on which is the limit of my technical abilities, which appears to have solved the problem. However, is there a safety issue hear or am I safe just to leave as sorted? All seems to be working fine with the charger. The charger was not in use and the car was not plugged in at the time of this incident.

Sounds like a chattering contactor when the magnets do not align correctly. They can clear themselves and never return. If it doesn’t I sometimes hit them with back of a screwdriver but would never recommend it live
