I wouldn't trust the miles/kWh reading as any kind of indication of the actual efficiency. It always starts at 3 then takes a while to deviate. Just look at how fast your percentage is dropping compared to the miles covered.

99% at home pre-trip plus a top up on the way back.

I found it quite good just a little optimistic initially and I didn't run the battery below 28% to examine its performance at the lower end.

I took my MG5 right down to 0% and I can tell you that at that level the performance is not good.
