MG Charger does not indicate error with non-matching card

Normally when the RFID card is read by the MG brand charger it will respond with a voice answer of "authorized" and "charging". I had a non-matching card left with with me from the installer who replaced a non-working home unit. I left the card in the car. When I started to charging process the next day I used it by mistake. It did not work, of course, but it also did not respond with any sound. I think it should have responded with "wrong card" or something. I had to call the service center and discovered my mistake after they sent a technician to investigate. Maybe somebody at MG will rectify this.
