Mg ev problems

My MG ev 2023
I keep seeing all the warning list on this forum .
But no one seemed to have mention cruise control .
When I took it to the mg garage try said update .
It work for 4 months and stop again .
Back in again update to see what they say this time .
Anyone else ?

I have found that if the boot isn't closed fully, but enough not to set off the bongs, the cruise control will not engage.

Got me once or twice. Needs a good slam to close it fully. You will get a red outline on the car in the centre of the "speedo" screen.

Another fun one is if you haven't quite closed the driver's door properly and not noticed, then you try to drive off and the car instantly puts the handbrake back on. Confused the #@*! out of me as I kept trying for a while and juddering to a halt every time. I think this was before I stopped bothering with the handbrake at all and actually released it manually when wanting to move off. If you don't release it manually I guess the car just wouldn't move at all in that scenario.
