I bought my first MG4 from Chiswick MG. Just called for servicing and they informed me they no longer sell or service MGs. Another one bites the dust.
Anyone know whether MG franchises are increasing or decreasing in UK as a whole?

We went car hunting the weekend for the wife, looked round loads of dealers and how they've changed, these were all in Wolverhampton.

Hyundai is where Volvo used to be
BYD used to be Vauxhall
Chery used to be Hyundai

Looks like all the local Vauxhall dealers have pretty much disappeared, nearest now seems to be Lichfield.

It's a bit like musical chairs !!

Yes I bought mine from Norton Way MG in Chiswick but they closed last April. Having said that, another garage near me (Ancaster in Shepperton) has switched from being a NIssan dealer to MG.

So that's one out and one in for me
:)

14.4.26 - MG Crawley today said we are no longer servicing Electric MG cars having gone over to Nissan. A check with the workshop came back, we could do an annual service but would not be able to upload details to MG, or honour any warranty issues arising, best you go elsewhere.
Where elsewhere I asked, because Brighton MG dealers called "Lookers" announced last week they ceased trading (at least as far as MG is concerned). Worthing now has the only MG garage/dealership on the South Coast.
Best go ask them if they can do a Service then, I was told.
I've only had this ZS EV since January 2025. Its on a 4-year finance deal. Looks like it might be best to drop the hot potato before it goes the way of Fisker.
