Mg Zs auto 2018 clinking noise from chassis

I have recently purchased a 2018 mg zs excite petrol 1 litre turbo. Just noticed when I slow down and become stationary I hear a clink noise from outside. Sound like it’s coming from the chassis but can’t be sure. It’s hard to describe the sound but bit like if you tapped a radiator that noise. Any idea what this could be? Is it anything to worry about literally bought this car 2 days ago had service and MOT and when test drove it did not make this noise.

Oh dear ......... Although the ICE version and the EV version of these cars are similar in their body shape and some of the components, at this point the similarity in the way these cars are set up and propelled could not be any different.
As I am sure you are aware, the lack of many of mechanical items in an EV is completely missing, so therefore trying to second guess the origin of your ticking noise, is really almost impossible to to offer any sensible advice on I am sorry I think.
Maybe somebody who has previous owned a ICE version of the ZS will be able to offer some help on this subject folks ??.

Hi, I traded my ZS ICE 1.0L auto in last week. I had the car for over 2 1/2 years and I never had the problem that you described.

If it didn't do it on the test drive but now does it after having a service, it sounds like something may have been left loose at the service. If the sound is reproducible, I would take it back to the dealer and ask them to investigate.
