I own the car since July 2021. Since then the car was twice immobilised due to a flat 12v battery.
Both times I called the AA to start it by charging the battery enough for taking it to the Dealers. Both AA technicians comments were that AA was kept constantly busy with the same problems on the MG irrespective of the cars age. Before the battery going flat I got on the screen “Radio module disconnected”. Now the Southampton Dealers are asking me to pay just over £ 300 for investigating etc etc which in my view is unacceptable. The 12v battery needs no maintenance, also I have never left it idle for more than two weeks ie during my summer holidays. Any ideas please?
