MG ZS EV First MOT (and service)

I've just had the first MOT on my ZS EV and there's an advisory saying that both the front brake discs are worn and will need to be replaced at the next service.
Now, I'm quite happy that they spot faults well in advance, but the car hasn't even got to 20,000 miles yet!
What kind of steel do they use for these discs? I think it must be that well known French variety - fromage de fer!

Hi, it sounds like your mileage is very low. you need to jump on the brakes more often and not just rely on regen.

Just had my first MOT on my gen1 ZS - made sure I used the brakes a lot before taking it in (braking fairly hard to high speed) and I had no advisories. I see you say worn and not rusted, so I guess this reply isn;t that helpful. Oh, and I have about half your mileage!
