Hi. There is no option to bind on the ismart car pagemine is early 2022 Trophy and I have iSmart app working, no problems. Have you tried? Is there an option in the menu to bind the car?
Ive asked 2 separate dealerships and they said it hasn't however they didn't really want to talk to me as Brighton mg my local is shutting down next weekThen it definitely should have Ismart capability without a doubt.
The connect model was the top spec and it came as an extra £500 on the list price, over the Trophy.
I smart page doesn't show bind on it. Tried several times to find itmine is early 2022 Trophy and I have iSmart app working, no problems. Have you tried? Is there an option in the menu to bind the car?

Thanks for the info. I've messaged to get the QR code up and although the car says it's connected my phone doesn't. I believe the previous owner is still connected to it so I've asked the sales guy to contact them to unbind. Step closer . ThanksYou can initiate the bind from the car itself - as others have stated, it starts a 72 hour timer so they original owner can either accept earlier (as happened with me) or just wait it out.
The wording in the car is not intuitive, but you need to have created an account inside the app, and then attempt to scan yourself in.
I'm sorry that I've forgotten the exact procedure, but you can definitely do it.
As I suspected then, it looks like the car is still bound to the previous owner. Thanks for the info. I've messaged to get the QR code up and although the car says it's connected my phone doesn't. You initiating the binding in the car means that, after a certain amount of hours, the previous owner gets unbound. It's about 72 hours maximum. Unfortunately, all you can do is hope the previous owner unbinds sooner, or simply waitThanks for the info. They don't need to unbind, after 72 hour of previous owner not connecting, it wipes them and allows you access. You initiating the binding in the car means that, after a certain amount of hours, the previous owner gets unbound.
