Mg ZS Radio issues

When tuned to a radio station my I lose the channel after about half an hour for no apparent reason.
I have to re select it but the same thing happens a while later.
Does anyone have any idea of reason?

I don't listen to the radio normally, but is it the DAB Vs FM auto switching not functioning?

If there is a facility to turn that on or off, you might be losing DAB as you drive and then it's not gaining the signal back and giving up. Might have to check the settings and make sure that's on?

Yes it is when using DAB.
Don't tend to listen to FM.

Have you by any chance got a mobile paired to the car when it happens?

From personal experience, it tends to throw a wobbly if you’re in a poor signal area (or in my case, an underground car park) & very slow to recover.

I have found success with looking for any available DAB station, tuning to that then tuning to one’s station of choice.

Alternatively, hold down the home button to reboot the entertainment screen.

It's supposed to switch from DAB to FM when DAB signal drops and back again when it picks up. Hyundai do this fine...

Interesting I have never seen this on any of my cars
@Pontyboy I take it you try the SRC button on the steering wheel?
