Does anyone know how to delete the recent list of calls. Also, my car phone often doesn't bring up the name of the caller, even though the callers name is listed on my phone.

I would expect that to be fetched from your phone each time the phone connects to the car, and not stored in the car head unit? In which case delete the list from your phone. Try turning the car on with your phone out of Bluetooth range and see if the list is still available. If that's not the case is there a "..." icon in the top corner of the display that will offer you a menu to enable you to delete them.
